Vision
Messiah’s Kids Children’s Ministry is a place where children are loved unconditionally through dynamic Christ-centered experiences as they are touched by the Word in the lavish presence of God.
Purpose
To partner with parents in providing a support system for faith nurture. It is our privilege to walk alongside parents in strengthening their child’s spiritual foundation that began in the waters of Holy baptism.
We do this by
teaching creatively,
engaging passionately,
and serving boldly!
We inspire kids to know God loves them unconditionally, to grow in
the Word and in relationships with others and to love God
enthusiastically in response to His grace !
“Messiah’s Kids” Preschool offers a caring, happy and secure learning environment for children 2 1/2 years through 4 years. Young children grow in a developmentally appropriate setting with a planned curriculum. Experienced teachers will interact with your child and engage them in learning as they share the love of Jesus. This integrated approach is how young children learn best!
The Curriculum
“Messiah’s Kids” implements the “HighScope” preschool curriculum for active participatory learning approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. (NAEYC) Based on research in child development our curriculum includes: Materials, Manipulation, Choice, Child language and Adult Scaffolding (support). Another key component of our day includes the “Voyages” curriculum for faith nurture developed for The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod preschools.
